The client also provides a cloud-based Microsoft Dynamics GP.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Challenges:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The client reached out to Velan as they were having the following challenges \u2013<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Current outsourced development team was not able to deliver a quality product as they were not well versed with .NET Core, AngularJS, MS SQL, Parallels RAS, WooCommerce, MySQL and Azure environment<\/li>\n<li>Improper configuration of the infrastructure that involved DevOps \u2013 CI\/CD etc.<\/li>\n<li>Manual testing process delays the product releases<\/li>\n<li>No defined configuration management to manage various version of the products<\/li>\n<li>Time-consuming manual product deployment process<\/li>\n<li>Shortage of skillset to customize Dynamics 365 CRM, SSO with ADFS and Parallels RAS, developing cloud interface Great Plains.<\/li>\n<li>Security gaps in the custom SaaS application<\/li>\n<li>Backup and Disaster Recovery Processes not in place<\/li>\n<li>Short-staffed customer service and support team<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Solutions:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Velan DevOps, Infrastructure and Development team worked with the client\u2019s challenges and provided solutions deploying the best practices.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The development team at Velan was able to meet the expectations of the customer even though the application consisted of\n<ul>\n<li>Different technologies like .NET Core, AngularJS, MS SQL. Parallels RAS, WooCommerce, MySQL and Azure<\/li>\n<li>Implementation of Agile methodology in the development process<\/li>\n<li>Velan ISO 9001 Quality Process ensuring quality delivery<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Velan DevOps engineers revisited the current infrastructure and provided the client with solutions\n<ul>\n<li>Version control was enforced using Azure TFS<\/li>\n<li>Automation scripts were deployed to reduce the delays in manual testing<\/li>\n<li>Automation scripts were developed for the deployment of GP products<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Velan Development team &amp; Infrastructure team was\n<ul>\n<li>Able to customize Dynamics 365 CRM based on client requirement<\/li>\n<li>Implement SSO with ADFS and Parallels RAS<\/li>\n<li>Revisited the existing code and provided code level security based on the best practices.<\/li>\n<li>Solution to implement GP application as IaaS<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Velan Server Support team provided the client with a backup and DR solution using Azure Infrastructure.
